On January 14, 2025, guests gathered at the beautiful Deer Creek Golf Club in Deerfield Beach, Florida, for the 15th Annual Snowbird Event, hosted by Menus for the Mind. This elegant evening featured exceptional entertainment, gourmet dining, and the company of wonderful supporters—all coming together for a meaningful cause.
The night’s highlight was an incredible performance by Sarge, a world-renowned comedian, musician, and entertainer, who captivated the audience with his sidesplitting comedy, touching vocals, and extraordinary piano skills. His energy and talent made for an unforgettable show!
This year’s gala raised essential funds for the Patient Support Initiative at the Jewish General Hospital, helping patients facing financial hardships by providing grocery and taxi vouchers during their medical journeys.
Additionally, a portion of the proceeds supported Federation CJA’s Israel Emergency Fund, offering much-needed assistance to those in crisis.

A huge thank you to all who attended and contributed to making this evening such a success!
A Celebration of Strength, Hope, and Community
On World Prematurity Day, we proudly joined families, hospital staff, and supporters to honor the hospital’s tiniest heroes—the premature babies who begin their journeys in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This special day was filled with heartwarming reunions, shared stories of resilience, and moments of gratitude for the dedicated healthcare teams who care for these little fighters.
With every hug, smile, and memory shared, this event highlighted the incredible impact of community support. Funds raised help provide essential equipment and resources for the NICU, ensuring that every premature baby receives the best possible start in life.
A Spectacular Night of Glitz, Glam, and Giving!
Co-Chairs Liz Wiener and Sidra Rubin were thrilled to present Behind the Curtain: Drag Life with Misty Waterfalls, an extraordinary evening that pulled back the curtain on the world of drag!
Misty Waterfalls and her fabulous friends, Bobépine and Kiara, put on a spectacular show, lighting up the stage with dazzling performances, breathtaking costumes, and larger-than-life personalities. Beyond the glitz and glamour, guests got an exclusive behind-the-scenes sneak peek into the artistry, dedication, and magic that go into the world of drag.
This unforgettable night was more than just entertainment—it was a fundraiser for our Patient Support Initiative, helping us continue our mission to enhance patient care and services.
On July 6, 2024, we had an unforgettable night out at The Gastro Gala, where the fun matched the impact of our cause! We ate, drank and danced our way to raising an amazing $1.25 million! With over 400 guests, the energy was off the charts, and every moment brought us closer to making a real difference.

Our mission is to support the Gastroenterology Department by helping them acquire a C-Arm Fluoroscope. This cutting-edge equipment is crucial for enhancing medical imaging in complex procedures and surgeries, and we're committed to giving our healthcare professionals the tools they need for precision, efficiency, and superior patient outcomes.
We are thrilled to share the success of the 9th edition of Mindstrong, our mental health fundraiser which took place on May 26, 2024. Dedicated to supporting mental health services and the Psychiatry Department at the JGH, we raised an impressive $300,000 this year, bringing our total funds raised to an extraordinary $10 million since the event's inception.
We are deeply grateful for the ongoing support and generosity of our donors, volunteers, and participants. Together, we continue to make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by mental illness, reinforcing our commitment to fostering a healthier, more resilient community. Mindstrong has become a fundamental event to our Montreal community, thanks to the unwavering collaboration between the JGH Auxiliary and Midtown Sanctuaire; working together to ensure the event’s success year after year while also cultivating a sense of community and wellness that extends well beyond the event itself.
